Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Meet Rachael:
I’m Rachael, I've been working as a Physiotherapist for 12 years within the NHS and specialised in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy for the last 4 years. I always had an interest in ante & post natal care but my own journey through motherhood 6 years ago solidified my feeling that women deserve more care and guidance throughout their pregnancy and post natal journey.
I have since developed a strong passion to help not only this patient group but anyone living with pelvic health issues. I love to see people regain control and confidence in their bodies; empowering them to achieve their goals, whether it’s returning to sport, going for a run or simply getting through their daily life without pain or leakage.
As a busy mum of 3 little ones, I fully appreciate the balancing act of family life, work and everything in between. However seeing the significant impact that physio can have on peoples daily lives has underlined the importance of making the time for yourself to get treatment. It has been incredibly rewarding to treat people at all stages of their lives and see such positive results - I hope to welcome you to the studio soon.
I am a member of CSP, HCPC, POGP NI & APPI. I have completed Pilates matwork training with APPI as well as ante & post natal pilates and pilates for the pelvic floor courses.
